A 24-year-old activist, a father-of-three, and a five-year-old girl among the 18 Canadians killed in the Ethiopian air crash which claimed 157 lives - as Trudeau says he is 'saddened' - while Trump stays silent on the eight American dead 

Danielle Moore, 24, (top left) was on her way to attend the United Nations Environment Assembly. The young activist had worked for many non-profit organizations in Winnipeg. Pius Adesanmi (top right) was an author and Nigerian professor at Carleton University in Ottawa. Derick Lwugi (bottom right), an accountant with the City of Calgary, leaves behind three children. Amina Ibrahim Odowaa and her five-year-old daughter Safiya (both pictured bottom right) were also killed. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a statement about the crash (pictured inset) on Sunday offering his 'heartfelt condolences'. 157 people were killed when an Ethiopian Airlines flight en route to Nairobi, Kenya, went down minutes after taking off from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
